Terms of Service: Misfit Consoles


1. Product Condition & Representation

  • Representative Images: Unless otherwise stated (e.g., items marked as "Actual Photo"), product images are representative only. These images are intended to show the model and general design of the item.

  • Condition Variance: As we deal in pre-owned goods, the physical item received may have minor cosmetic differences from the image shown, including but not limited to slight scratches, shelf wear, or minor discoloration.

  • Functionality: All items are tested for functionality before being listed. Cosmetic wear that does not affect gameplay is considered normal for used inventory.

2. Grading Scale

To ensure transparency, we categorize our "representative" stock into the following grades:

  • Very Good: Very minor or no cosmetic wear; fully functional.

  • Good: Visible scratches or scuffs; may have minor label wear.

  • Acceptable: Significant cosmetic wear (yellowing, deep scratches) but 100% functional.

3. Verification Requests

We understand that collectors value specifics. Customers may request actual photos of a specific unit via email prior to purchase. Please allow 24–48 hours for us to provide images of the current stock.

4. Returns & Refunds

To protect our small-business operations, we do not issue refunds for any reason once an item has shipped.

Our primary remedy for a defective item is a replacement unit of equal or better grade.

A refund will only be granted if we are unable to source a suitable replacement for you within a reasonable timeframe.

5. Limitations of Liability

Misfit Consoles is not responsible for regional lockout issues (e.g., trying to play a PAL game on an NTSC console) or compatibility issues with modern televisions without proper adapters.
